Picking up my wedding albums this past Friday instantly brought me back to the giddy, indulgent, beautiful day I shared with my best friend and soul mate. Looking through the photos, I was amazed at how happy we were (and still are now…. just not as GLAM!).

Reviewing the albums also led me to notice the amazing bridal accessories I was blessed with from my mom’s tennis bracelet to my right-hand ring to a sparkly clutch to my dress embellishment down to the buckles on my bridal shoes. It was all spectacular and I felt like a movie star. Oh… I hope I am invited to a black tie gala soon. Getting preened for your wedding day is EVERY girl’s dream come true. FABULOUS!

The accessory that really put things over the top for me had to be the diamond chandelier earrings I had the pleasure of wearing. YES, they were REAL diamonds… And NO, I did not win the lottery or come into a crazy inheritance before the big day. This was all made possible by an amazing web site I came across called Adorn that allows you to rent, real diamonds for special occasions.

After scouring the internet for the right costume earrings, costing upwards of $500, it occurred to me how silly it was to spend that much for something I will wear very seldom and was still not the real deal. Coming across the Adorn web site was like a dream come true and so simple!

For as little as $200, I was able to ROCK real diamond chandelier earrings down the aisle. I have never felt so fabulous. You have to know yourself and your level of responsibility beforehand though, as a credit card is needed to ensure that the items do not get lost in transmission. I was so nervous about being even a day late- as money will get deducted from your account if you are- that we rearranged our travel to accommodate the shipment deadline.

Things worked out excellently! The diamonds were shipped to my office address by Thursday, I got married on Saturday, and dropped the jewels into a pre-paid UPS box the following Monday morning. The rentals returned right on time during my blissful honeymoon – where I did not give it another thought. However you decide to accessorize for your big day, I recommend checking Adorn out. The gals there are super sweet and accommodating too.
